The best season of BSB... so far?
2000.
I was there at Donington...
I was gutted for Stalker.
Has there been a better season since?

Hard to credit that was 20 years ago.

That was epic. I had the video for years. The thing for me though was around that time seeing them in wsb, taking on and beating the big boys, hodgsin, Reynolds, hislop, Kagayama etc.
I was at oulton to see Hodgson come from last place after stalling on the grid.

It's the only season of BSB I can actually remember having an interests in... oh and the one where Shakey was on a silver GSXR with no sponsors in the privateer class and was regularly fighting with the factory teams.

2000 I had my Hodgy t-shirt on. Loads in the crowd were wearing Walker champion shirts even before the races.
I was a happy boy.

I was going to go for Hodgson/Stalker as well although Whit and MacKenzie on the Cadbury Boost bikes was a good ding dong affair
In the more modern era 2011 should get a mention for being decided on the last corner of the season at Brands for Tommy Hill over Hopper by 2 points and a side by side photo finish across the line

I missed most of the season, but I watched the last round.
The celebrations stuck with me more than the racing, Scotty was one happy, happy chappy!
