It's a flat tracker inspired road bike, you wouldn't buy a KTM1290 adventure and complain it wasn't a 300SX would you ?

I don't mind the looks of the Indian, but the weight is a deal breaker for me.
In terms of riding pleasure, manhandling a behemoth has lost it's allure,a degree of lightness is required.
My Z is listed as 221kgs wet,but I've whittled that down to 207kgs. A new ZX10R comes in at 209kgs.
My goal is to be under 200...eventually.

Oh I dunno
Hot off the press from here https://www.triumphmotorcycles.co.uk/mo ... ns-to-rideTriumph Motorcycles wrote:Designed to bring a visceral high with every moment, the new Speed Triple 1200 RS is the lightest and best handling Speed Triple, bar none. It’s 10kg lighter than the previous generation at just 198kg ready to ride, with an all-new lightweight chassis, all-new rider ergonomics and a more dominant and purposeful riding position

I would if I bought something pretending to be a 300sx but it turned out to be a 1290 Adventure in new clothes.
If I went onto Tinder and posted a picture of Brad Pitt in Snatch, then rocked up looking like me I don't think I'd get away with saying I'm Brad Pitt inspired

The FTR is one of my list of bikes I’d like to own. But, I did that once with my CB1300, which I hated and sold within 6 months.
But I do like the FTR
But I do like the FTR

Love 'em! No use for one and no cash for one, but if that changed, in a heartbeat!
