I like it. Apart from the tyres, but then I don't like those on any retro cafe builds.

I like it, I think it looks pretty sweet.
I'm still not sure about the gap under the seat where the side panels and other parts should be, that queers me out a bit.

I really wouldn't want to ride it in the wet. A hugger would be nice.Asian Boss wrote: ↑Wed Jan 27, 2021 8:46 am I'm still not sure about the gap under the seat where the side panels and other parts should be, that queers me out a bit.

It's a CX, why would you bother?
Moving on from that, it's well finished, but the tyres look like something from a dumper truck, which is where any CX engine belongs, in a dumper truck.

Good grief. I remember those things when they first came out. Horrible things. But it seems they run forever!
Either I am getting old and senile or that bike is a thing of beauty.
Problem is, it's always going to be someone else's dream. To enjoy having such a machine, you'd really have to build it yourself.

A front mudguard would be somewhat useful...Cousin Jack wrote: ↑Wed Jan 27, 2021 10:47 amI really wouldn't want to ride it in the wet. Poor mans Guzzi. That said, it's more reliable and probably as quick as a small block Guzzi!Le_Fromage_Grande wrote: ↑Wed Jan 27, 2021 11:32 am It's a CX, why would you bother?

Of course these things aren't built to be practical. They are owners show bikes following an emerging genre and should be judged as such.
