I don't know much about her songs (though I'd probably be familiar) but I caught a couple of interviews where she came across as a well grounded "normal" person unlike the vast majority of "celebrities". On top of that she struck me as an articulate, intelligent person which I must admit, actually surprised me, if only because she is such a famous pop star.
