Last night was the first of the new tier 4.
Local news shows that the police and army gave out 200 fines in Arrecife for breaking the rules in 1 night.
Facebook has lit up apparently and all agree that this is good.
I approve
The sooner they really clamp down on things the better it will be for you.
Coronavirus latest news: Homeopaths 'crossed the line' peddling vaccine myths
The head of NHS England warned homeopaths had "crossed the line" after a Sunday Telegraph investigation revealed some were peddling myths that taking duck extract was as effective as the coronavirus vaccines.
Sir Simon Stephens warned people taking their advice from homeopaths were putting themselves at greater risk, and warned they would slow down the nation's vaccine efforts.
His calls were echoed by Professor Stephen Powis, the NHS medical director, who said the findings were the "latest in a long line of disturbing and potentially dangerous online myths".
On Saturday Facebook began removing the posts by 4Homeopathy, a banner organisation representing 11 leading homeopathic organisations and charities. Their Facebook page has 164,000 followers.
A post dated January 5 stated that a diluted duck heart and liver extract, had been distributed to "953,416 families".
Sir Simon told the Sunday Telegraph: "It's one thing for homeopaths to peddle useless but harmless potions, but they cross a dangerous line when making ridiculous assertions about protecting people from Covid infection."
Just ask Prince Charles about this, he's an enthusiastic supporter of homeopathy.

I wish they'd do that here. It'll go on forever unless we break its advances, but as we've seen by the recent rise in cases, a lot of people ignored the distancing/stay at home rules leading up to and over Xmas. I find myself losing any sympathy for those that have contracted covid by attending gatherings or ignoring s/distancing rules. I watched a woman on the news crying after losing her mother to C19, but admitted they'd all attended a family wedding and felt pressured to go. You can answer to yourselves for that one then.
My friends Dad just lost his best mate of 60 years to covid. He has now fallen out with the rest of the family, because he refused to attend the funeral.
I had to go into our local town center yesterday to go to Boots pharmacy, the number of people in the town was staggering.
Groups of teenagers, the usual hordes of Eastern European’s sat about drinking, and to top it off a busker - a bad one at that.
There is no wonder things are out of control.
Surely all these people weren’t there for an essential trip out.
But would folk still go to mass gatherings if/when caught attending, they get 20 years. ? Some might, but I'm sure it would be a better deterrent than a £200 fine.. £10 a week probably.

Locking up many thousands of people for years isn't viable I'm afraid.

But when a drunk speeding driver kills his family and another innocent family, I guess you’re ok with ignoring they broke the rules and it’s the governments fault...

I never said that ...but for years this site and its predecessors have raged about speed cameras, and how the filth should instead concentrate on those that are killing people etc etc...suddenly they are all buying into the ‘any one of them could be killing your granny’ even though the vast majority of them ( like speeders? ) won’t be doing any harm at all ..??
