Donington After MotoGP.He was on a 500 old Brit GP thingy.
The crowd had left. But all the marshalls and medics were screaming for Bazza and waving everything at him. The love for him was amazing.
Glen English just beat him. And I was with a big set of lads from Hayle in Cornwall.
On the podium, Glen English said "Me dad will kill me. He loves Barry Sheene

Re: Racing Quiz
You could still be right. I assume the moto gp was in July/August. His last race(as far as I’m aware) was in September.

Re: Racing Quiz
It was July. So I saw one of his last races.
And that nearly didn't happen LOL
I was working for Riders for Health in the few days leading up to the Day of Champions on the Thursday. To get to the infield, we used the gate between McCleans and Coppice and drove over the track. I did that on the Wednesday as normal, and suddenly heard the sound of a 500 BSA hurtling towards me out of McCleans, He had a duck on his helmet. He missed me by about 10'
The track wasn't declared as closed, so I was doing nothing wrong. They just let him out do one test lap.
I was a bit shaken, to say the least

An ex Girlfriend was an Audiologist at the Royal Surrey.
One appointment was a Mr B Sheene. This was after his big accident at Silverstone. The report back to me was he was a pleasant man. Just a bit flirty.
