It was interesting to see that one of the first things Biden decided to do about DACA, paths to citizenship & immigration is EXACTLY what Trump asked the Democrats in Congress to do FOUR years ago.

Now that's not in the inauguration speech (which is virtually word for word the same as Obama delivered last time)
Not even close. Admittedly it has some of the same words, but that's to be expected.

Have you read them?
DEADPOOL wrote: Thu Jan 21, 2021 11:15 pmSeen that sort of behaviour before too. Can't remember if that was Mein Kampf or Chairman Mao's Little Red Book. Probably both.
So is Biden a fascist or a communist? This is getting a bit confusing.

What do you think is in the Paris accord then? How does that differ from my assessment? What effect is it having on the current rate of carbon emissions?

Let me give you a clue: none. The overall rate of pollution is going up and while I do provocatively suggest 2 degrees of warming is a “target”, that is literally how climate change is being used to keep calm and carry on. All that has changed is how much “money” changes hands to offset carbon bollocks. It is a giant scam. Politicians are virtue signalling to appease the green movement and make us all feel happy about doubling our fuel bills and literally oiling the wheels of industry so they can sell us a new car every ten seconds.

The answer is to stop this obsession with fossil fuel now. Ban it, go for nuclear, wind, wave, solar anything and deal with the consequences in the hope that global warming will reverse. Global Megacorp would not allow such heresy, China would simply ignore it anyway. As extinction rebellion have amply demonstrated, while the solution is obviously staring us in the face, we are steadfastly choosing to look the other way.

It is tempting to say “yes” but I don’t know. Apparently the National Socialist Party isn’t even socialist. I don’t understand why you need to pigeonhole a political movement unless you need to invoke Godwin’s or obfuscate the rather obvious process of disinformation, control of mass media, blackshirts and indoctrination in the guise of education.

These are tried and tested methods which have been used by politicians though the ages to control societies. The Constitution is an incredibly prescient document which has been specifically formulated to obviate such shenanigans. I guess that’s why Biden is so keen to ignore it.

As Stalin observed “It is unimportant who will vote, what is important is who will count the votes and how.”

The US is as close as it ever has been to being a single party state, what the Democrats are discussing now is how much closer it becomes to a dictatorship.

So you don’t know what is actually in the Paris accord then. “Orange man bad” so if Trump is against it, you are for it.

Well you’re in luck because the Democrat party are already suggesting a “re-education program” for people like me who don’t believe everything the media tells them they should. Maybe I can become more like you.

Are you American? Or is Big Bad Biden going to send a highly trained snatch squad all the way to Britain to spirit you away to a re-education camp in the jungles of Antarctica?

Most of the agenda towards "people who didn't vote for us" appears to be identical to 1930's Germany, except the land reforms are more in line with China & Cambodia. The "revoke educational wallpaper" agenda coming from the mongs at Harvard looks to be Khmer Rouge doctrine.

Hillary took to the airwaves this week & she's gone completely doolally, actually asked if Trump was coordinating the attack on the Capital on the phone with Putin as it happened.

Now we have a bunch of confused black, hispanic & asian people who voted for Trump that have been branded as white supremacists.

Looking* at what Biden says & what is actually happening makes a lot more sense if you replace the word *unity* with *control*

I don't listen to ANY politicians, I read a bit of what they spout. My usual MO is to change the channel as soon as they start talking.

News are now airing footage of migrant caravans having the shit beaten out of them by Guatemalan & Mexican cops/military... all thanks to Biden's "show up in the first 100 days for amnesty" comment a few months back.
He's stopped construction of the wall, but is on record saying he was all for it under Obama & committed to building 600 miles...

Trump ordered Federal Agents in unmarked vehciles and unlabelled uniforms to pull protestors into unmarked vans and take them to undisclosed locations without arresting them.

Trump has filed...how many, I dunno....lots.... of injunctions against books that are critical of him.

And that was just in 2020.

Just sayin' ;)
Trump didn't start any wars (abroad, not a second US civil war :P ). That has to be a good thing.

I don't expect Biden to be as benevolent.

Trump did more than his fair share of bomb dropping. More tellingly, he removed the restrictions on dropping bombs close to civilian populations.

There’s an old American saying though, ‘The republicans like a huge military, but don’t want to send it anywhere, the democrats like a small military but want to send it everywhere’.

Didn’t have long to wait. Did you see his “executive orders”?

Critical race theory is now back on the indoctrination I mean curriculum.
Illegal to discriminate on gender identity so call yourself a woman and have a crack at women’s sports. Presumably also open access to women’s changing rooms.
He’s also hinting at reparations (!) i.e. some free money for any non white after “suffering” 400 years of enslavement.
Action against white supremicists. I’m all for that of course but then you wonder how do they define ws? KKK membership perhaps? Membership of a N*z* group? Nope. Basically anyone who voted for Trump. I think they are also expanding the use of the term terrorist to include Trump supporters. Note the use of the term “racist” has lost its meaning, hence the need to reframe the meaning of words.

In short, I think the whole thing is going to blow up. I don’t care if Weeksy likes to dress up as a woman, each to their own but to legislate that anyone has to be literally treated as a man or woman depending simply on what they say is bonkers. Guess that makes me a white supremicist racist terrorist...
Meanwhile, back in the real world;

Brought in some cohesive centralised coronavirus plans and vaccination strategies
The US has rejoined WHO
Rejoined the climate change agreement
Stopped the building of the wall
Ended the ban on travel from some muslim countries.

He's already talked of sending more troops to various countries. Perhaps he should do something about all the NG troop in DC who are now having to billet in a parking structure.
The numbers are coming of for his first day: 11,000 people lost their jobs in the energy sector owing to his executive orders.

What significance does that have? Because he used it it must be flawed? Because he used it it must be infallible?

Because he used it, so it's a bit rich to complain about those votes being counted.
