We had our blessing/major anniversary planned for May 2020. That had to be scrapped, so kind of made the special anniversary part redundant. We then re-scheduled it for May 2021, which has also now been cancelled.
The next planned date is for April 2022, and we're hoping that the villa we originally booked will be available for us too. The travel company said we have until Octobe 2022 to get a holiday booked through them or lose our deposit, which I think is a bit unfair as it was hardly our fault or our doing that this holiday got cancelled TWICE! Gutted wasn't the word.
We never had a proper wedding, so this event is a really really big deal, it's just such a shame that it couldn't go ahead on the original date as that would've been on the actual anniversary date, which conveniently fell on a Saturday.
Hey ho, all the family are well, and safe, so that's a bonus.
For this year, assuming we can travel, it will be to our favourite hang out in Devon. Fingers crossed and funds being available!

Re: After Covid
You rotten sod - you've spoiled the ending (
For me, I want to visit the uk (hopefully on an Irish Passport!!) as my SDad is getting on and I miss him. We chat fairly regularly, but it's not the same
Well, really I want to catch up with all my family (even my mother) as it feels like a long time since I've seen them all (only just over a year for most, but a couple or three for my mother).
Want to do some trackdays in the UK too (if I can ride like that by then!) and more bike stuff
But apart from that, just want to be able to do all the stuff I used to try and do (since I can now build the muscle and fitness to do it).
Just found out that one of the pistes has been bashed and is flat, so I'll go look tomorrow and then, if it is, I'll go have a ski!!
Life is for living. Buy the shoes. Eat the cake. Ride the bikes. Just, ride the bikes!!
