NOt exactly what i wanted to purchase, but if we all want to do a UK day before anything else next year, then this is what we'll be needing.

Is it as heavy as the bar end weight it replaces?
I had to fit extra heavy bar ends on mine to stop vibration.

From what I can tell on the zx6 r it's pretty close. I'll go as far as to weigh both when I do the XSR

I've never seen one of those, is there one each side? Is it for crash protection?

It's for track use, now mandatory in UK. It stens from an accident where someone clipped someone's brake lever and was killed. So now every bike on a track needs a guard fitting.
I don't like them, but rules are rules
You can buy for both sides but only needed for brake

I'd be inclined to agree 100% but that's the rules so there's no choice. If you turn up without one, you're going homeTaipan wrote: ↑Wed Jan 06, 2021 7:21 pmWow, that's a bit of overkill isn't it?weeksy wrote: ↑Wed Jan 06, 2021 5:15 pm It's for track use, now mandatory in UK. I'd have loved the full IDS kit but it's a bit spendy so just went with oil and springs.

That depends on many aspects of the world. But at this moment i'd happily say no, i'll be staying on the Yamaha.
