E Man formerly of the Visordown massive invited me down to a local vintage car and bike show a few years ago as he was showing off his dads Sunbeam. Lovely old bit of kit and he did ride it from time to time to keep it ticking over

Its a 1950 and i think from memory its a S6 or S7 model although its been a while since i spoke to him about it

The skinnier BSA forks and alloy silencer are S8 features.

A mate’s got a nice S7 in mist green. As mentioned they were marketed as a gentleman’s motorcycle- it looks just right with an old doctor’s bag strapped to the back

In the mid 80s in Stowmarket there was someone who used one for every day transport, used to see him on it every working day.
