Whats a good value decent weather proof padlock???

its to go on the door and the bar, IF some does break the lock off the house alarm will go off as well.

Those Squire SS (insert body width size here) padlocks are pretty good and you can get em in quite a few sizes.
Some of them have replacable lock cores so can be suited to match the house locks. That way you don't need loads of keys. Just don't lose them.

Did you say your house is on the market or sold?

If still for sale, you might want to age / weather the fittings, bar and padlock, so as not to draw attention to a sudden concern about security.
Even bland can be a type of character :wave:
