And how did Gooseneck, Charlies and Mansfield get their names ?

Didn't know the hairpin had a name, but it's not really a hairpin
Charlies is named after one of the original circuit owners sons, the other son was Chris

I always thought the Gooseneck was called that because it's shaped like a Goose's neck, but I don't know this for certain.

Look at the cover on this ancient program and you'll see the Gooseneck shape. And the 'Beak' hairpin :)

I thought the owner had 2 sons named Beak and Gooseneck.
I may be wrong on that though.
