Wheel axel greasing
Question, once bike been cleaning and dried what’s good for greasing the through axels and peddles abs bottom bracket???
GT85, WD40??? Or a a proper grease for cycles???

I use either Weldtite TF2 grease

PROPER GREASE!!!!! But not Muc-Off grease, it’s rubbish. I use White Lightning crystal grease at the moment but Juice Lubes stuff is pretty good as well

As an aside, apparently the pro’s run ceramic wheel and bb bearings with a very light oil in them in their race bikes (which obvs gets cleaned and relubed after every event. Trying to save every last milliwatt by reducing drag!

I had to change a rear hub a few years ago because the thru axle had corroded and siezed. It was a right bitch to get the wheel out of the frame and I couldn't get a replacement through axle so I had to get a couple of bits machined to get the bike rideable again.
Keep those axles greased.
