That's lovely, lose the coloured anodising and it would be even better.

Aye, go on then.
I usually can't stand bikes without an airbox but I'm sure TZ 750s never had an airbox in the first place.
In fact I doubt they even had filters beyond a bit of mesh to stop itinerant swallows (European, not African obviously) setting up home inside the carb.

Looks good and will sound amazing.
But not too sure about reliability

Standard or not, I don't like them. I don't like gold anodising on bikes either.

Not a fan of gold anodising myself, which is unfortunate considering thats what colour my fork legs are.
90s motocross scene was a bit kin garish.
This pic says 93 but the bike looks like a 90 to me.

A TZ750 turned up at Donny about 10 years ago. We all marvelled at the sound.
I followed it for a giggle and it wasn't as fast as I remember

It's not always important.
Last time I rode a half fast bike on track was 2015. I've still enjoyed the days.

That's beyond impressive for me- to just jump on and go like that on that bike, Kenny is, without doubt, Da Man
I did a speedway try-out day back in 2009 up in Scunny with a few old VD/TRC-ers
Without a doubt the hardest thing I've ever attempted on a bike- I've been on bikes sine I was tiny, done a bit of racing , MX and and been riding off-road for yonks , and I thought I'd be flying around like a pro by the end of the day but I wasn't- I like to think that I was less shit than some, but no doubt about it, I was still shit
And that was on a little 10-15hp thing that none of us had the skill to hold wide open right through the corners without ending in a heap- something like that TZ must be fucking immense.
Massive respect!

Re: THIS SCARY TZ750 FLAT TRACK RACER IS ALSO STREET LEGAL
This thread just wouldn't be right without this footage of Kenny Roberts* having a spin on a TZ flat tracker after years away from it and witb zero practice time on it.
Yeah, I know I've posted this up time and time avain but FFS, just listen to the bastard come on the pipe.
Admittedly, its not helped cos some chull tip thought it was a good idea to put music on the clip.
And during my TZ750 search on Youtube I came across the perfect present for...yer kid? Yeah riiight.
Kenny Roberts has always been my motorcycling hero since I was a kid and had a T shirt that was printed to look like his leathers as well.
