Went up to resort for physio - also got told to drink electroytes to help with general headaches and tiredness (don't think it's necessary as I take berocca in the mornings and eat well for the required 'stuff'); then met a mate for a coffee and discussed bikes to be bought for next year :)

Home to chill the knee - have walked 2kms with no stick and whilst yes, I'm icing the knee, that's normal whether I use the stick or not!!!

Was looking up '81 GPz11 turn signals online (in case the deal to buy it actually happens).

Found them, & they come with this gem:

"CAUTION:
the safe way is the best way.

WARNING: This equipment should be installed, adjusted, and serviced by qualified
electrical maintenance personnel familiar with the construction and operation of the
equipment and the hazards involved. Failure to observe this precaution could result in
bodily injury."

Good fucking grief, we're talking turn signals here. :wtf:

Crashed my van. Approaching parked cars. Took my line early to show not of intention to oncoming cars. Plenty room for two cars to pass but other side had one car half on and off the pavement. Two oncoming cars are tucked in to gutter but the stupid cow in first car decided to pull out at the point of no return. I thought i hit her and bounced over into the parked car but looking at the pictures.... My O/S bumper, like every other panel is scuffed but no blue paint. Damage and blue paint starts at the ear of the wheel arch. I only noticed this tonight after i spoke to the insurance. That bit hit me and not the other way round.

Anyway as i turned in an attempt to avoid the bitch my wheel dug into the parked BMW taking out my wheel, tyre and full strut. BMW as we can see has lost the Alloy and tyre, wishbone, Drip link. Possible subframe. Im thinking as its an 07 car they with just write it off. Fixing my van myself so that does not get written off but wish now i never pulled away and fucker her car instead.
Oh. After i gave her my details she got in het car and fucked off without telling me hers. Not even her reg number. I have a name and email address only as i told her my email so i can hand over insurance details when i got home. My insurance thinks leaving the scene of an accident without passing details is as bad as doing a runner. This will be fun

Roomie talking about a visit to WallyWorld/Fight Club for food. I mention I need to pick up a yoga mat...

Roomie: "For a toolbox?"

Had a motorcycle cop follow me for far too long this morning  I was running errands in the ShitBox Honda. Cop followed me for about one mile going South, then two miles headed West, then two miles headed North. At times he was about 20ft off the rear bumper, thought he wanted to pass so stayed to the right to give him room. Fucker just stayed there... :angry-cussingblack:

I think I spent more time looking at the speedo during those five miles than I did during the 180 miles I did on the GPz11 last week. :x

Another crappy night shift, paperwork irregularities that needed correcting, equipment failures leading to possession delays whilst we implemented work around procedures and an emergency switch off that dragged on as SOCO were investigating for hours. Still it beat the night before fire/arc damage to rail and emergency switch off.

"Especially the lies."

Now you have an excuse for being late which is better than 'I overslept'.

Yeah, it would have been, but I'd already told my boss the reason I wasn't at the meeting! :D

I did 20 minutes static biking before breakfast, more physio than I've done at home for a few weeks and then chilled for the day - well, literally, iced my knee a lot!! But, haven't needed the big meds so that's a good thing :) :) :bblonde: :bblonde:
