Bike Cleaning - Master thread

I was wondering if there was a master thread about what you use to clean your bikes?

Chain

Wd40 non aerosol version and a hard nail brush

Body work

general car body wash

Degreasing

Muc-off pink stuff as a prewash
Muc-off bio degreaser for stubborn bits

General

Lots of sponges / Mirco fiber cloths

Used to be GT85 and Mr Sheene. A bit of autoglym tar remover at times. Then lastly for the black bits some trim gel.

I was never a great fan of rear huggers before but the Fazer1000 came with one so just leafing it on. When you look at the rear shock of my 600 and compare it with the 1000 the 1000 looks new. Sold the 600 not so can show the difference but even the swingarm and frame as spotless.

All my 124,696 mile ZRX11 see's is instant detailer on the green & shiny black bits, solvent to get the chain goop off the rear wheel/swingarm & solvol on the polished aluminum. It's only been washed with actual soap & water twice in 27 years.
