HUGE water main* break in West Hollywood. Bus services in the area are suspended owing to the parking lot now being a lake. Two idiots decided to go for a closer look & fell into a sinkhole where the sidewalk used to be. Underground parking at apartments has fucked christ knows how many cars.. & even more were swept along the streets by the water. LA Mayor appeared & only managed to conform she hasn't got the first fucking clue about anything.

In other news, cops are standing on Will Rogers Beach watching some perp who has been treading water for over an hour. Three life guards just grabbed the guy & dragged him to a LASD boat. Camera guy in the news chopper just backed off as the perp is only wearing a T Shirt.. which the camera guy noticed a bit too late.

Unless the Met Police have bought a much bigger boat, closing the bridge is a tad unnecessary

What a strange piece of "journalism".
A cyclist with no name, and who on earth refers to a cyclist as a "wheeler"?

Probably the Edwardians. Lots of cycling clubs are called wheelers, Revtothelimit Wheelers for example.

Yebutt. It just looks like the writer thought "I've already used "cyclist", must think of some other word."

And 'Lycra-clad, self-righteous, pompous twat' was too long on the page. ;)

That would have made it an editorial rather than a news story.
