summer waterproof gloves...

Post by Newbie73 »

morning. looking k for your recommendations on summer gloves that are waterproof. i bought a cheapo set a few years ago and while they are OK for a shower, they are not good enough in heavier rain...

No personal experience but got a few mates who use these. Looks like they have been superseded now as only odd sizes left, but mates say they work well and aren't too bulky. Sort of a race waterproof glove. I'd assume they've got a newer version. It'd be worth sorting through Sportsbikeshop website user reviews for summer waterproof gloves.

Many thanks - seems most people have the 2/3 XL sizes. There does not seem to be a direct replacement ... but I will keep digging .,.

I’d recommend gloves with a laminated membrane (e.g., Gore Grip) as this prevents the lining from pulling out.

What’s your budget? Five TFX-1 gloves appear amazing if you can afford them:

Great advice about the laminated as I was not aware of that.

I tried a pair of Held Air N Dry II Gore-Tex Gloves the other day. they have this twin liner, one side they are full summer vented gloves. the other side they are goretex waterproof... also quite pricey..

having a look at the ones here as these people are local and carry a good selection..
