I so so want to organise myself to make my own pizzas - can't justify buying an oven for them specifically and kinda holding back as not sure they'll work so well in my normal oven.

But as I have three or more weeks off work I really should (once the heatwave dies down a bit and it's not so horrible having anything 'on' in the kitchen

Bon apetit for the pizza laters :bblonde:

Took the monkey out for breakfast and tested the screw in repair. All good, holding pressure. Was interested to see how it held up with road friction on the screw. It has worn the screw head but still doing it's job. 🤞

Put the faster green pods on the ZRX instead of the GPz750, then took it for a quick ride as I have a minor coolant leak to find. Noticed some evidence after getting home from the RockStore a couple of weeks back. Cleaned that off & saw a trace from under the front of the tank after today 7 mile ride.

May be associated with the ZRX having the original 27yo hoses, & owing to the location of the filler cap I'll be taking the fucking gas tank off tomorrow as it appears to be leaking from the hoses connected to the thermostat/rad cap.

So in the space of a week I've gone from three perfectly running bikes to zero... well, tbf, they all run great, there's just other issues.

ZRX11: Coolant leak (but it's not overheating)
ZX11: Ignition switch (needs IRAN)
GPz11: Turn signals stopped working (again)

Looking forward to having four bikes to keep roadworthy...

A bit squashed. I wasn't happy with its unrequested injection, so I slapped it to the ground and stamped on it several times.

Walked 20 mins down the hill to my local station with my shiny, new phone.

Realised that to activate my bank cards on said phone required the CCV codes, of which I have no clue.

Walked 20 mins back up the hill, set up cards, walked 20mins back.

Sat waiting for a train in the very pleasant weather, and for some reason the nursery rhyme 'The Grand Old Duke of York' keeps playing in a loop in my head. :D

I have a serious dislike of using my phone to pay. I've seen too many people get stuck at a till in the tiny shop in resort because the phone has no battery or it just won't scan/work and they have no option then :(

I do have my Revolut card set up and very occasionally it's good - left my bag in the car the other day and could pay for coffee with my phone so I didn't have to hobble back to the car for my card!

But overall I do have an irrational dislike of phone paying - I'd say I'm old as an excuse, but I'm younger than some of you   so that's not why!!

I don't find that irrational at all. The less stuff I have on my phone, the better. It would already be a pain if I lost it/got it stolen/broke it. It's a rather vulnerable thing to be so totally dependent on. No wonder some people need counselling  when they get their phone stolen.

Yes, I know wallets get stolen too but cancelling a couple of cards is easy and you don't have to keep all of them in there.

Don't get me wrong, I will use it (as said, I forgot my bag with cards the other day and had the back up of the phone!) but I couldn't plan to leave home without a card as well as the phone!! And I'm not putting my actual bank card on there, only the Revolut - that has instant notifications so if something is wrong I see it straight away !!
