A genuinely excellent example of the ZX-9R, recently and thoroughly serviced by me. I was planning to keep this one, but arthritis means I now have to stick to bikes with very light clutches or DCT gearboxes, so reluctantly it has to go.
The basics

- Only 2 owners, previous owner from new to 2025
- 2 keys
- Brand new MOT with no advisories, valid until 26 June 2027
- V5C logbook present and in my name, HPI clear with no outstanding finance
- Excellent condition for year, see photos
- Bridgestone S22 tyres with virtually no wear (2019 date code, so worth budgeting for fresh rubber despite the lack of wear)
- Located in Watton/Norfolk. Collection preferred; happy to discuss delivery locally.
Fitted with the original Kawasaki titanium silencer in excellent condition. Also included are two Scorpion end cans, one stainless and one carbon, both as new. The colour-coded rear hugger is also included (not currently fitted).
Recent service work, all done by me
- New battery
- Oil and oil filter
- Air filter
- Valve clearance adjustment, shims replaced as required
- Coolant flush and replacement
- New clutch and accelerator cables
- New chain and sprockets, standard gearing
- Complete brake overhaul: front master cylinder rebuild, rear caliper seal service, both front calipers rebuilt with new seals, pistons and bolts, new EBC HH sintered pads all round, and a full fluid flush. The brakes now work superbly.
Having owned many sportsbikes, this is one of the good ones. It is comfortable relative to more modern bikes but has the power and torque to easily keep up. It runs perfectly and needs nothing. Most "bargain" ZX-9Rs still need the work I've already done here, and often more, so you would spend the difference and still not end up with a bike this sorted.
