Android phone suspiciously quiet - no notifications, no audio on video

Yesterday, all fine. Today, mostly silent.

The only sound it makes is ringing for incoming calls, even then I can't hear or be heard.

No notifications for any messages (email, WhatsApp). No audio in Instagram or YouTube.

No silent modes on.

In settings, when adjusting adjusting the individual notification volumes, they're silent apart from ring tone.

Ooh! Well done, seems to have sorted it (adjusting sounds in Settings, just need a message to arrive to check)
