The other week I did Peaslake with 2 mates, great fun and first time Iโ€™ve been for ages,

1/2 term week this week, , managed 3 rides so far. Great fun,
Tuesday I did an evening ride, from Fetham to Ranmore and around there, loads of fun, some great trails and bits to play on,

Then last night (Thursday evening) we did some gravel to Chessington area, come across loads of gravel riders, explored a bit and found a few dead ends, but I decent area to explore (being so close to home that is)

Also in the middle or either Epsom or Ashstead common there is an area with 15 off cows that just roam, crazy.
Also saw 2 deer, tried to get a picture but they buggered off sharpish.

Finished in a lovely pud, had 3 pints and we had to ride home through the common in pitch black, far from ideal, with just some small strobe light and a phone light. Not a massive drinker either. I could get used to this no work and just having fun ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚

And today smashed out a route from Fetham to Ranmore to Leith hill and back, itโ€™s been years since I have ridden Leirh hill, what an area, absolutely stunning, I want to get back and explore more, they trails are pretty tough but getting to ride through the trees and forest is incredible.

I need to get my insta360 up and take that (or get the right mount)

Absolutely shattered, got home at 2pm and took the kids to bushy park.

So, me and the lad went to our local pump track, obvs I too the BMX, he wanted to take his balance bike as well as his pedal one,

Loads fun, bloody hard though, need to practice more and learn to jump, but did 6/7km round it as well, my wife had my phone for quite a bit to get some pictures,

Was absolutely shattered afterwards, great fun though.

It needs some thinner tyres, the 2.40 fitted feel proper slow

Toasty ride to work, warm even at 0600! As I rode over the bridge at Southease over the river Ouse I spotted a bloke paddle boarding toward Lewesโ€ฆโ€ฆ.he was naked ๐Ÿ˜ฑ

I was going to get up and ride, but like you say, it was already damn warm early doors.

I've been riding on Zwift lately, but even though it sounds counter productive, with a fan and the ability to stay out of the sun, it's the way forward in this heat. If i reach a point of getting way too hot, i can just stop, cool down in the paddling pool.

So I committed the Railwayman cardinal sin of breaking my journey on the train home. Luckily I'd charged the eebs battery and been able to wash and dry my kit after the morning ride so it was a hot and sweaty ride home. Totally shattered now.
