Probably in a merry band of one here :D

I don't mind mossand other bits and bobs in with the grass. It's green and more interesting than a standard grass monoculture. 'Perfect' lawns are just green, sterile and might as well be astroturf...unless you want to play bowls on it.
The plural of 'anecdote' is not 'data'.

Nope, I'll throw my hat in this ring, ours is riddled with moss, daisies, dandelions, wildflowers and other odds n sods that I don't know the name of, we try and leave it 3 - 4 weeks between mows so it has a chance to feed whatever insects are around and we get rewarded by having numerous birds hanging around throughout the day.

After 250kg of horticultural sand, 300 litres of topsoil, 225 litres of compost, seed & turf fertiliser and seed

It had better grow back green, lush and level… :D
I hate Moss with a passion. FWIW i have started to just leave the mower cuttings on my lawn rather than binning them. It has reduced my moss and grass is growing back more lush. OK in patches just now but its only been a few month. You dont see much moss in council fields/parks and they never pick up after themselves.
I’ll bear that in mind, I cut the back lawn on Sunday and left the clippings as the bin is full but that’ll likely be getting the same treatment as the front in due course.

For the bird lovers, the front lawn has become a feeding ground for every bird in the surrounding area so they won’t be going hungry for a while… FFS

Had a pleasant early afternoon driving through the mountains in SW Portugal.
Not the perfect roads for pulling a trailer but I had time to kill so just plodded on and enjoyed the scenery.

Did a small shop for tomorrow's project! Tomorrow I will make a lot of spring rolls :) :) - mostly for the freezer :) :)

Currently on the sofa with a big bucket of tea and an ice cream - crochet project to work on then early to bed!! LOL :obscene-drinkingcheers: :obscene-drinkingcheers:

And looking at that smilie - I've not had any alcohol since I came home

My line manager left recently. Now my admin assistant is leaving. Due to budget constraints, neither is being replaced at this time. Now my Director wants to have a chat tomorrow... I think i'd rather be sacked than have to do admin work! :D

Sadly, the severance payouts are crap, but they may boot me out on a spazzas pension, which I guess I'd take?

Wayyyy to much!! Hurty knee!!

I mean, was only walking around, and maybe using a step ladder to hand some curtains/get to a cupboard to do some sorting out :angelic-green:

A mate is collecting and dropping off the exercise bike this afternoon, so I'll see how hurty the knee is later and might do my 15 mins on it once it's in the shade!! LOL

Have set up to do physio outside - he said only once a day but as I was doing twice a day in rehab, I was planning twice a day here! But then I was sidetracked into doing stuff here and so I figure that will do for this morning!! I know just moving around isn't the same as actual physio, but it makes my knee hurt more, so I'll just do the one session in the shade later!! (Morning session has to finish by about 10:30 as I can keep the mat in the shade until then - once the sun goes over in the afternoon, the mat is back in the shade :) :)

So doing more crochet until the mate gets here with the cycle thing :) :)

Had the results of some tests on my jam tart (CRS = Heart). Calcification of the arteries between 25-50% in some places. Mmmm. Statins for me then. Nom nom nom.

Given that Mrs Gremlin cooks low fat, high protein meals from scratch, we swerve takeaways and try to be healthier than thou, plus I exercise nigh-on everyday, would you allow me a moment of self indulgence whilst I gripe at the fucking injustice of genetics.

Keto or near keto might be better than statins. If you have any side effects shout at the doc earlier rather than later - if they don't like you they can be pretty destructive!

💩 the bed and very early doors trains to go and see my brother in Newcastle. Currently on an LNER service (Azuma train). It’s much nicer than our scummy trains Sarf of the river.

Today just drove back to Portimao circuit.
But previous days I was a couple of hours north
Did a 2 day gentle enduro tour of the forests
Each day 100 kms

Loved the huge pine forests.

The new eucalyptus forests were planted for paper. It was amazing to see completely new trees growing only 2 years after being completely felled.

Then the cork forests. Thousands of trees with bark stripped up to about 3m.

Then they are left to grow for 7 years before being stripped today.
Was nice gentle couple of days

You can cheat and just make up words.

Might get some big scores.
