I'm being realistic. Yea, there's more potholes, but the roads in UK have always been fairly shit. I'm more concerned about drivers than rough roads.

That's something I developed quite late in biking life, mainly as at the start my bikes were my transport and whilst they got a wash every week or 2 they never stayed clean. Then I hit a nice middle ground once I gave up commuting before it all got a bit silly and I was cleaning the bastard every 5 mins. I'm transitioning back again now though. Currently my bike is covered in flies and summer dust, but meh it won't harm the bike so it'll be fine until I can be arsed. I prefer a clean bike, but using the bugger is the main thing.

Normally I clean my Suzuki before I go to trackdays.

Well, I've finally booked a trip home on the Motorbike via Scotland on the ferry.
