I need to take the Ballistic Couch out for a ride, I also need to figure out why the GPz11 turn signals stopped working again.

Tomorrow it seems I'm helping someone move house. Then cutting some firewood, fixing the van reversing sensors and other odd jobs.

Went to a garage sale. Bought an $80 Proto body file for $10 & for 50c added a fairly large chuck key to the pile.
& a pair of HUGE brass/copper table lamps for $40 (not actually for me)

Rode the Ballistic Couch yesterday. I really need to adjust my brain after riding the GPz11 so I don't leave the lights like Elmer Trett.
Issue is both the ZRX11 & GPz11 will pull away with barely a whiff the throttle, whereas the ZX11 requires a bit more.. erm.. ambition.

Re: FRiday thread... the wet June start...
Yesterday, a mate came to see me on her way back from an RDV in Chambery - bloody brilliant to chat in English for a bit!!
Then sorted some stuff to bring home, homing that I don't need so much when I go back tomorrow!
Today - drove a friend from rehab to Bourg St Maurice so I could drop her off to meet her sister (and stay there for the night) and I got to get some proper coffee !!
Then home to empty stuff from the car. My new neighbour has two cars, someone else was parked in the third visitor spot, so I had to park on the side of the road
Hopefully won't have to do that when I move back properly!! Sat in the sun, did loads of washing, sorted some stuff and made the first of the cakes to take back!! Had pizza for tea!!
Tomorrow - more baking and then packing to head back to rehab, Fabienne is being dropped off at my place in the afternoon so I can drive us back to rehab

Sadly most people I know are busy this weekend, but it is quite nice to just chill - around the baking and sorting

Life is for living. Buy the shoes. Eat the cake. Ride the bikes. Just, ride the bikes!!

Bonus today, there's motocross locally: https://www.msc-parmen.de/
Amusingly, to me anyway, I can't use power tools, mowers etc outside on a Sunday. But motocross is allowed. Slightly too far away to drown any noise I might make, ho hum.

Re: FRiday thread... the wet June start...
An enjoyable afternoon. Quite a big event I think, not just local riders, there were teams from places a few hours drive away. Lot's a newish vans with awnings, caravans etc.. A good age range for the spectators, from small kids to old giffers. Three ambulances at strategic points, they got some use but not much. Plenty of 2T bikes, which was nice. 10 Euro a head for spectating and parking. A pleasing number a small kids on minibikes on a small circuit in one of the spectating areas, some on electric bikes. My only mild disappointment was no sidecars, but that's a bit niche.
