Recommend a power bank - small

I'm looking for a small power bank that will charge a phone and fit in a rucksack. I tried some years ago and they were nearly useless - slow charging and only one phone charge.

Have they got better? Any recommendations?

FWIW I have a USB charger under my seat but I don't want leads dangling around and there's not much room for the phone.

My solution is probably overkill - and a bit spendy - and a tad heavy.....but, since I already have a Noco jump starter with a USB in/out...that's my emergency phone charger.

Yeah they're decent now. Although we have a Jackery which means ours don't get as much use now.

I always use Anker power banks. Only as they're highly rated, admittedly they're not £1.99 though, more on the pricey side.

I've got a pair of old Anker powerbanks that I've had for years and still work great (although they're from a time before USB-C).

I've tried loads of others, including most recently a 'Juice' branded one and they all pack in within six months.

ours came from Amazon and one is a couple of years old, the other about 6 months, they all still work fine.

It's probably more to do with what the wife is charging with them, dodgy Chinese vapes... The Ankers are still going!

On ebay, I find things are often advertised at a low price, but you are obliged to make a selection of some sort. At which point the price shoots up.

We had 2 of those (similar bult in cables, similar price point) , daughter wasn't best pleased when I got to tell her I told her so, both went spicy pillow in short order, happily before she needed to take them aboard.
