Archive of mods done to Fantic Caballero 500 (Nov 2018 to Dec 2024)

Post by Dave G »

Put this archive of mods together a while back if anyone's interested. I am currently putting together a new archive documenting the recent mods which I'll post soon.

You've put an extraordinary amount of work into this! How are you setting up the fuelling? On a dyno?

All running fine at the moment, setup has been done using throttle position and air fuel ratio so far but yes eventually I need to get it on the dyno but none local I'm afraid!.

I think the early 125 used a Yamaha engine so would imagine it was very relable and I seem to remember that early ones were also carbureted. Basically same frame as the 500. I use Haines for Fantic spares, friendly staff, good prices quick delivery and can source unlisted parts, just give them the part No and they'll get it for you. Here's their link.

Watched Neevsy's review on Youtube of his wife's Caballero, he clearly loves it.
