Re: Favicon
Was messing about with a 'favicon generator'

then

I've currently left it with the green motorbike as the icon on the forum. But i do like the logo, even though it's very small and hard to see/read.

Re: Favicon
OK, last redesign. We've converted a 1098 into a favicon and we're going with that after a team discussion

Lol how you have the green one is beyond me. All should be the red 1098 now.

Yeah but, do you like it or hate it, as I think we're the only 2 who careKungFooBob wrote: ↑Thu Dec 24, 2020 9:07 pm I 've just done a proper refresh. It's gone red.

I hadn't noticed it until you pointed it out, I couldn't tell you what the previous ones looked like.

Re: Favicon
With my arty farty (paper, out of cracker) hat on, it might look better if not squashed to fit the shape available. Instead, crop the bike to fit - either lose a bit of each wheel so it's centred, or have the entire front end in and trim off the back end if the bike.weeksy wrote: ↑Thu Dec 24, 2020 9:09 pmYeah but, do you like it or hate it, as I think we're the only 2 who careKungFooBob wrote: ↑Thu Dec 24, 2020 9:07 pm I 've just done a proper refresh. So has my Favicon!
Imagine looking through a window, first bike is a bit further away, second is closer.
FWIW I think the second would be more dynamic and recognisable.

Re: Favicon
Because it's 16*16 pixels only, that's actually harder than you'd think lolHorse wrote: ↑Thu Dec 24, 2020 10:14 pmWith my arty farty (paper, out of cracker) hat on, it might look better if not squashed to fit the shape available. Re: Favicon
Hey, you asked and I answered I can't do anything for a few days, but will do a couple of sketches when back @work.
Credit where due, in the 16x16 format available you've drawn a very creditable and recognisable motorcycle.

Three colours:
Shade = grey
Blue to be black
Red
The grey line is one pixel in from the edge of the 16x16. The bike front wheel and helmet go to the extra pixel, so the bike 'pops out', making it more dynamic.
The rear of the bike is trimmed. This loses nothing which the person viewing needs to identify what the image is showing, in fact makes it easier as the remainder can be bigger.
I googled "panigale wheelie" to get something to copy.
Yes, it's a toy
I'm assuming you're using software to start with a larger image and reduce down to the necessary range of sizes, etc. Also, I haven't considered how it appears on different colour backgrounds. Possibly for that you might want a white 1 pixel outside of the grey partial border.

Re: Favicon
LOL you were supposed to have input and comments, not just like it.
I must admit, i prefer the 1098 one we've had for a few days.
