If there were ever a bike that doesn't need an exhaust clearing banana swingarm...

Re: DEUS X ZERO: A CUSTOM SR/S ELECTRIC SPORTBIKE
Yeah but i like the way that gives a slight change of lines over the straighter fairing. Otherwise it's going to look a bit 900SS/cheap swingarm potentially.Mr. Dazzle wrote: ↑Thu Dec 24, 2020 10:51 am If there were ever a bike that doesn't need an exhaust clearing banana swingarm...

Could have given it a superbike style chunky one I reckon. The fairing wings are a bit silly too, I didnt notice them at first.

I agree on them bits, but they felt it massively added stability. Be interesting to know how much is a placebo or real.Mr. Dazzle wrote: ↑Thu Dec 24, 2020 10:55 am Could have given it a superbike style chunky one I reckon. The fairing wings are a bit silly too, I didnt notice them at first.

I looked at it and thought it's bland to look at.

I can see where they might help against sidewinds. We've all done the thing where you stick your knee out into the wind and it helps as long as until your hip hurts. More than that... Idk, but I believe them enough to be interested to try it.weeksy wrote: ↑Thu Dec 24, 2020 10:56 amI agree on them bits, but they felt it massively added stability. So weird to see a bike without two hand levers as well. In fact the footpegs don't have any controls either. Thumb operated rear brake I'm guessing, judging from the two reservoirs.

I've looked at it some more, it's not ugly, but it's not good looking either, for me it's "meh"weeksy wrote: ↑Thu Dec 24, 2020 11:04 amLOL clearly... but i'm just not getting that. It does remind me of the Dunstall Suzukis of the late 70s.

It's nothing new, just a well proven "look" wrapped around a different motor & big battery. Nothing wrong with that, but it's just alright.Le_Fromage_Grande wrote: ↑

It's not the worst thing I've ever seen, but nothing about the looks makes me lust after it.
I get the Dunstall comment from the cheesy one.
Judging by the clobber on turnup man,it's a hipster vibe.

Ha...it is, isn't it? Maybe that's why I like it, subconsciously reminds me of the trains set i had as a kid.
