It's been handling a bit odd recently, the head bearings were a bit loose, I'd adjust the slack out(eventually) but then they seemed to drag.
For some reason I thought I'd regrease the top set but not bothering with the bottom ones, it felt better and I used molybdenum disulphate grease, then I thought I'd do the bottom set (after 2 weeks) cleaned the old manky grease and replaced with the same
Managed to get them adjusted correctly first time and it's much better.

I recently knocked a 2in piece of 1/4in drill rod off of something & I heard it rattle down inside the ZX11 fairings.. bugger...

Looked under the bike, no sign of it, double bugger...

A few days ago I was moving the ZRX11 & spotted the piece of drill rod laying next to the Baxley front wheel stand/chock. No idea how the hell it ended up by the other bike, but happy I don't have to pull the fairings looking for it.. unbuggered!

Years ago I dropped one of the bobbins for the Abba stand. A substantial item,not in normal pingfukkit territory at all. The garage has been cleared and that thing never reappeared,not even after I had to buy another kit.

This is why dropping things in the garage is such a moment of complete horror,there's always a chance you'll never see the item ever again.

I've always thought the the rear shock/spring was too harsh.
I've been through a few online things that work it out and it appears that the spring I have is approx 500pb/inch fory weight etc it should be 450lb/inch

I measured static sag etc the other day.
From shock topped out to bike weight on it is 30mm
With me on its 20mm

This is with no preload on the spring,as I found it much harder wit the sugged 15mm of preload.

I need to get the shock out remove and measure the spring

Mot passed today, I popped in to see when they had space and it was there and then.

I managed to see the weight when he was weighing it

So 50/50 weight balance unladen by myself, I'm not sure if that means it's 244kg total or what?

Kawasaki say it's 256kg wet, mine has a full tank minus 50 miles so maybe 2kg in fuel
