The new Beeline gives turn by turn navigation. I've used mine a couple of times but not enough to give a detailed review.
There are a couple of reasons I bought a Beeline rather than a Quadlock for my phone. Firstly, phones have a habit of failing after being shaken to bits on the handlebars, the camera seems to be particularly susceptible to this. Secondly, it's permanently sunny here and phones overheat if left out.

It's a quirky little tool, the Beeline. Really useful when you get accustomed to it's ways. Sometimes I wander and haven't a clue where the fuck I am,but it always gets me where I should be going.

Nice ride out on Sunday morning over towards Matlock Bath and home via Warslow. Was nice being out early with less traffic.

Whilst the Hypermotard was getting it's first service:
€85000

I was taken with the V4 Diavel

I think maybe a Desert X next year, much better than an Africa Twin.

Quit it
I watched F9's latest youtube video yesterday and found myself mulling over a V4 Multistrada
thankfully when spec'ed to my liking it's way over budget

The Multistrada is the only Ducati I'm not keen on. I could very easily stick a Streetfighter V2 and Desert X in the garage though.MrLongbeard wrote: Mon Jul 14, 2025 1:14 pm Quit itI watched F9's latest youtube video yesterday and found myself mulling over a V4 Multistrada

Met a couple the other week touring in the Picos 2-up on one - they had nothing but good things to say about it.Pirahna wrote: Mon Jul 14, 2025 11:41 am I think maybe a Desert X next year, much better than an Africa Twin.![]()

Re: When/Where/Pics was the last time you rode your bike ?
Thought I'd test that arrow app thingy today. Worked well enough and does point to your destination but it helped that I knew where I was going.
Pulled up at Crossgates cafe and my phone was dead, so it's a big drinker or my phone is on it's way out.

Meandered around to Knighton and on to pub at Leintwardine. Lovely place on the river. There was a 3 day rally on and this was one of their stops. 80 odd cars and some real beauties. It's a timed event and they can't go over or under time allowed. Some sections are off road aswel. Great fun I bet.

Re: When/Where/Pics was the last time you rode your bike ?
We're going away on Monday for a couple of weeks so today was my last chance of a bike ride for a while - did a 170 mile loop out through North Wales with Machynlleth at the other end.
Roads were quiet enough to be good fun & did a little bit of discovering down smaller lanes too.
