Why not?

Maybe the builder prefers building bikes than going round and round in circles on the same bit of tarmac? Each to their own.

I can't say i like it, but then anything using that engine has to be a Freddie Spencer rep IMO.

Jesus, that's shit, what a waste of a CB900, it's well known there's only one thing you can do with a CB900, Freddie replica.

Since I have no fucking idea what a CB900 is supposed to look like and only a vague motion of who Freddie Spencer is I sorta like that :D

Looks pretty good from the front 3/4, but oddly gappy from the sides.

Where does it say Freddie Spencer rep?

Freddie is a legend and these days it seems he's happy to turn up to anything bike related, but if you put his name to that monstrosity I reckon he'd poke you in the eye.

I can find out what a CB900 literally looks like or who Freddie Spencer is on Google. I just mean it has no context whatsoever for me, so naturally I don't buy into the "waste of a CB900" thing. I just see a bike that looks cool from some angles :D

My comment was that the only reasonable thing to do with a DOHC 750/900/1100 engine is to make it into a Spencer rep. That's because I think they look aces. The 'irk the purists' in me thought about getting CB900 tank and bodywork and fitting it to the TDR.

Same here. I don't care if he's done the "wrong" conversion, because I have no connection to the "right" conversion.

To me he's taken an old heavy UJM, made it look pretty and ride better, and that's the whole story.

I wasn't being serious, and I appreciate anyone under 50 will have no concept of Freddie Spencer and Eddie Lawson racing AMA Superbikes, but it was popular in the early 80s.

Freddie was the Marc Marquez of the time, he could do things on a bike no one else could at the time, like using the rear brake to control rear wheel spin.

You can buy them online to download.
I used to go to my local bike shop and buy the Duke videos, my favourite was the Schwantz one, Flick the Beast.
