We usually get a wet week once a year. Took the car down a track that I do every 2 weeks. It had been washed away in 2 places. Luckily I was able to get on to the rough ground next to it. Then nearly got caught in some nasty sticky clay-like goo. Needed 4WD and diff locks and I just got through.

If they're Damas trees then get rid, they're incredibly invasive and the roots will grow into the drains and destroy foundations.
We had one in our old house that grew up the drain and appeared in the plug hole, when it was investigated the root was half the diameter of the drain and the whole length of pipework had to be taken up and replaced.
It had actually cracked the pipe to get entry, squeezed in and then taken it over.
