Want to buy aftermarket RSV Mille Gen 1 single RH exhaust

Post by mangocrazy »

More specifically I'm looking for an oval stainless or Ti can (preferably with link pipe, but not essential) that will fit onto the single output from the headers under the RH footrest. I'm NOT after the ginormous standard exhaust or a stubby, but a full size aftermarket can with reasonably fruity sound (a race can could be acceptable if a db killer can be fitted).

This is to fit onto the Falco I acquired last year which has Mille headers and oil tank fitted and will replace the Renegade under-seat system formerly fitted. Once cleaned up the Rene system will be for sale, along with the Falco Fighter pillion footrests.

Looks like a great build! Akrapovic or Arrow are solid choices for great sound and weight balance. Race dampers with DB Killer give you the punch you need without being too loud. Keep an eye out for great deals on eBay too.

Did you find a replacement end can?

No, I haven't found one yet, still looking. If all else fails, Griff sells an aftermarket Mille can plus matching EEPROM for £350. It's a bit more than I'd prefer to spend, but if it's Hobson's choice then... I'll wait until the rest of the bike is back together and fettled before shelling out, as bolting on an end can is pretty much the last stage of the rebuild.

Thanks for asking... :)

I've got a blue flame end can and link pipe I took off my mille. Wanted something with a baffle. Just taking up room in the shed at the moment.

Now that sounds a bit adjacent to what I'm after. Any possibility of a photo?

Will do, have to be tomorrow though. Will stick it back on the rsv to give it a bit of context.

Brilliant! No hurry, I've had this advert up for over two months now, so a couple of days is neither here nor there... :D
