CLAIM: Voting machines in Kannapolis stopped working. Ballots were gathered to be counted later.

One machine at the downtown Kannapolis train station did go down for a few hours, but the county had a plan for these types of occurrences and poll workers carried it out. The ballots were secured in a locked box where they were placed by the voters until the machine could be repaired and a team of poll workers from both major political parties put the ballots back through the counting machine.

You are, of course, completely correct that you didn't mention Kannapolis. You didn't actually mention where the alleged incident took place.

But I was doing what you often suggest: searching beyond. And Kannapolis was the only place that an incident of that type was reported - and fact checked. Straw man? Prove it, with verified details of those 'multiple States'. But you won't.

And as for taking that comment and using it out of context. You used the words "I do not". Not " ... but I do sometimes" or "I do, but you'll have to guess where". It's not my fault if you can't be exact.

That's a good question. I sincerely doubt the figures I have seen are particularly reliable and the source is certainly not reputable. I'll see if I can dig something up as it piques my interest. Remembering the thrust of my argument was more about the gradual erosion of British cultural norms rather than specific examples of how our society is changing.

Also it has to be said that there are many examples for where such data is deliberately either hidden or (allegedly) not collected. This is especially true for illegal immigration or migrant hotspots.

Patently not true. You took an excerpt from a different conversation I was having with someone else where I said I wasn't "putting meaning on anything" to suggest "therefore" everything I say is a statement of fact and not an opinion. That in itself is a great example of why conversations with people like you are low value. It does not address the topic at hand but is an attempt at an irrelevant "gotcha".

I never gave it any thought until last week. It popped up on the 'news' and I was confused because I always though it was illegal, come to find it isn't and never has, further come to find it was raised in parliament 20 odd years ago http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/programmes/n ... 442010.stm

And since Scrw'd brough it up here I come to find that aside from the US and China it's pretty common place, so whilst yes common sense would dictate that the gene pool maybe getting shallower for them there aren't any real hard and fast numbers, and no moves to make it illegal.

Of course one could argue that no one dare make it illegal in case they offend a certain sector of the populous, but then those who might think that should sleep easy that if it is introducing massive numbers of health problems those same sections are doing the world a favour by self regulating their numbers.
