Our company doctor was the guest at our department meeting this week. He said that the time had been saved by collaborating well together, cutting out the red tape and bureaucracy rather than inadequate testing. He also said that if you ask 10 doctors the same question you will get 11 different answersKungFooBob wrote: ↑Wed Dec 02, 2020 11:45 am Yeah, but what about the undocumented zombifcation side effects?

There's still hope for a zombie apocalypse, you just have to ask the right doctor.KungFooBob wrote: ↑Wed Dec 02, 2020 12:14 pmSo no zombie apocalypse?Trinity765 wrote: ↑Wed Dec 02, 2020 12:12 pm Our company doctor was the guest at our department meeting this week. He means (I guess) that everyone who's jabbed will be allowed to do stuff and people who aren't won't. They've already ruled out the idea of vaccination passports though AFAIK?
I have my tory party donor card though so I'm OK

Re: Pfizer vaccine approved
Seems hard to argue with the logic.NHS staff and patients are likely to get the vaccine first because storage of the jab at freezing temperatures is easiest in hospitals. Some care home staff will be included too.
When more doses are delivered, the Joint Committee on Vaccination and Immunisation (JCVI) has advised that people are given the vaccine in the following order:
residents in a care home for older adults, and their carers
everyone aged 80 and over, and frontline health and social care workers
everyone aged 75 and over
everyone aged 70 and over, and those who are clinically extremely vulnerable
everyone aged 65 and over
people aged 16 to 64 with underlying health conditions which put them at higher risk of serious disease and death from Covid-19
everyone aged 60 and over
everyone aged 55 and over
everyone aged 50 and over
These groups cover 90-99% of those at risk of dying from Covid-19, according to the JCVI.

I'm 53 and I don't want it, I don't need a vaccine for something that isn't going to kill me and people who've had the vaccine will still carry it and transmit it.
