Ducati 748 - I'd hate the riding position these days, but I still want a go, damnit.

A CCM - dunno which one, I just liked them back in the early 2000s.

KR1S - I've never owned a two-stroke.

Practically though, if you gave me the cash for any one of them, I'd just buy another Triumph Street Triple.

The Goldwing ^^^ reminded me, for some strange reason part of my brain told me it wanted to ride a Honda Valkyrie.

(The other part of my brain pointed and laughed so it shut up but......yeah I still want a go. ).

A Blackbird would be amazing and in a couple of years I could import a black carb version as a ‘collection’ and avoid that restriction/CoC nonsense

I never owned a Thundercat but did use one for a few months and would love to have an orange/silver version. I seemed to bypass the 600’s in favour of a Blackbird back then and always felt a bit sad that I didn’t have a ‘Cat

All I can envision is it lying on its side, hopefully with me not underneath it. The idea of trying to wheel around a two-wheeler with the size and weight of a small car gives me the heeby-jeebies.

I've ridden one, on the test-grip-pan at Longcross, for about 10 minutes. Odd thing: massively under-powered for the weight of it, a bit top-heavy when you start moving, or at very low speeds, but still reasonably usable. If I had a mainly urban 10-15 mile commute I'd definitely consider one. (even now).

Having said that: they still take up a lot of space, and they're not weatherproof (rain would easily come in round the sides: I'd be looking at making up some sort of transparent thin-sheet "doors" just to keep spray and rain off.

390kg wet weight for the fully specced version, which is not far short of the weight of a Reliant Robin (sub 450kg). And which is a small car.

A X-Diavel calls to me from time to time, but I doubt I'll ever answer that call. I had a lot of fun on my Harley and it was a pretty good commuter too, so maybe a revisit to another? The trouble is the X-ADV is just so damn good at doing what I want and need from a bike, its hard to stray from that. Words I never thought i'd say...

Some years ago, i pulled into the petrol station on The Highway close to Tower Bridge. It was a horrible morning with sleet flurries. I filled up and was struggling to put my wet gloves back on.

I noticed a C1 had pulled in at the opposite pump-it had the Baglux leg cover thing on it. Out pops a stilletoed shod foot, then a shapely leg. Rider was wearing a big jacket and a fairly short skirt.

Always wanted one after that (the C1, not the short skirt)

Bucket bikes are:

Cagiva Mito 125 (7 speed, already had a 6 speed).

Tuono v-twin-had one on loan at work, such fun commuting on it (sadly they never bought one)

A 1970's Bultaco enduro bike, but rare even here.
