2007 Porsche 911 Carrera S
Building on its predecessor, the 996, the 997 brought back some of the most popular design elements such as the instantly recognisable classic round headlights.
Our 2007 Porsche 911 Carrera 2S is finished in Meteor Grey paintwork paired with a black leather interior. First registered in January 2007 and delivered by Porsche Centre Edinburgh, it comes with a sought-after specification. The option codes confirm features like the Sports Exhaust, 19” forged Turbo alloy wheels, full leather lining, and a BOSE sound system with a 6-CD changer. The car’s service history has nine stamps from Porsche main dealers or specialists with the most recent being from April 2024 at 70,850 miles.
The diamond-cut 19” Turbo alloys are fitted with a set of premium Pirelli P Zero tyres and paint protection film (PPF) has been applied to key areas.
Our Porsche 911 comes with a history file containing a selection of MOTs, and a comprehensive leather-bound book pack and has clearly been well cared for throughout its life.
Accompanied by its V5C, a selection of MOTs, and a comprehensive leather-bound book pack, this Carrera 2S offers everything you’d expect from a well-cared-for example.

These sites really are a licence to print money if you can get the customers.

Was just looking at a camper "worth £60000" and a ticket price of £4.99 per ticket... with a max of 30,000 sold.... So £60,000 = £150,000 Jeepers that's some profit margin isn't it.

Are there additional costs associated, now that all the advertising seems to be done on social media, there's really a massive market it seems. I think once you've ticked the right boxes etc you've got to be onto a winner if you get anywhere near full sell.

Its an issue that's been raised many times on comp site FB pages. Apparently the promotion and advertising on social media isn't cheap at all, plus office and storage rents, staffing and delivery costs etc blah. But all said and done if you're selling out, like RevComps does most of the time, then you will do very very well. Many of the comp saies dont sell out and iincur losses at times but even then they must do well enough to carry on?

One of the reasons I only use them is they do loads of free draws, which yes I appreciate is just a gimmick to keep gamblers gaming, but also,

I'm still not 100% sure how well one of these campers would work for us, but it'd be worth finding out and Mrs Weeksy can sell her focus and have the Tiguan (or keep it and sell the Tiguan).

Well this would be for race weekends. So we'd only be taking 1 bike and that would be starting the weekend clean so could go in as it is, finishing the weekend clean. It's more a case of whether things like the gazebo/spares etc could all fit in there. It wouldn't be for uplift/riding weekends as such.

I think i've mentioned before, they sometimes have a cycling XC event near us and teh carpark is full of cars with bike racks, but there are lots of these VW campers (and other campers) with bike racks too and it must be a lot easier to get changed in and to have drinks food etc with you. They seem popular for these events here?

Yeah i get you, getting changed etc isn't a major issue, the biggest issue is keeping stuff cold and keeping yourselves warm at night. The rest like cooking etc just works out and falls into place. But him up in the pop-up and me on the bed down below would work nicely if both could have a bit of overnight heating etc...
