Oi - I've been driving longer than most of my fellow students have been alive!! Even driven buses before (when I was 21!! ).

Let's see how many people are unhappy about having a woman driver in these vehicles!

So basically the qualification is the creme de la creme of qualifications here. So that's probably worth the three months of stress!! LOL

And, they've given me trailer rights as well

I DO NOT want to have to reverse with a trailer!! I know how, I understand the process, it just doesn't happen - and thats with a small trailer (dinghy or bike) or caravan!!

FFS!! LOL

Just got to get confirmation from the girl in the training school office that she can do the licence bit for me as I still can't access the ANTS site (due to them not understanding about legal names!!)

But I have the CQC certificate and the tacho card. Once she confirms that the application is in for the driving licence and sends the paper to confirm, I can drive buses!!

Finally got my diploma yesterday. Sent a scan of it and various other documents to the girl at the school who was willing to help me by doing the stuff on ANTS to get my licence, only she's away until Friday

I've forwarded the email on to the people she mentioned in the out of office, just not sure that they will help

But -

The diploma is here!! LOL Will be driving buses soon - hopefully with no screaming passengers!! LOL

I am much more appreciative of the time there now!! Mostly cos I passed! Also cos I massively improved my French!! And also a bit cos I met someone lovely

Just need to finalise that last bit - I can't because the sods sent me a licence in my correct name, but didn't change the name on the website, so I can't log into it as they don't match!

Forgot to post this on Saturday!!

I've been driving with the pass certificate and the paperwork from ANTS (sort of DVLA) to say my licence is being processed - which is ok, but not ideal!

On Saturday we got a message from the office saying that there was a good chance of drivers being 'controlled' (paperwork checks, breathalyser etc ) on the road I was on. I'd received a message late Friday that I had a letter in the office.

So I called the office to ask if it felt like there was a card in the envelope and if so, could she open it and send me a photo!!!

Apparently my boss told her to say "no card but the letter says you're pregnant" !! (The other girl in the office told me this later! My boss doesn't understand just how much older than him I am!! LOL) Anyway, luckily Tiffany didn't say that and it was my licence


Sooooo - I now have the correct driving licence Am very happy
