It's all out of proportion. Like 2 different bikes have been stuck together. But I think it's the same on the standard bike?

I really don't want an exhaust beside my right knee. Style over function, this bike will never go anywhere where a high level exhaust is necessary. Fashion making life less comfortable.

On the standard scrambler you don't really notice it, unless it's the height of summer stuck in traffic. But the one in the pictures has far less shielding than standard.Cousin Jack wrote: ↑Fri Dec 06, 2024 3:08 pm I really don't want an exhaust beside my right knee. Most of seems bare, with the odd black bit of heat shield. I am not impressed with the 'fancy' welding eitherMcNab wrote: ↑Fri Dec 06, 2024 3:36 pmOn the standard scrambler you don't really notice it, unless it's the height of summer stuck in traffic. It's a very well engineered job. I could believe it was a factory model.
I want to like it and it nearly happens for me,but I don't and I'm not 100% sure why that is.

Re: Gold Edition: Triumph Scrambler 1200 XE
As above, if you'd told me this was a press release from Triumph for a special edition I'd have believed it.
I do think it might actually look/work better with less travel on both ends.

I'd like it more if it had its number plate where it should be.

Re: Gold Edition: Triumph Scrambler 1200 XE
Taking the heat shield of the front mount is absolutely daft - if you de catt the bikes the front pipes run cooler - but still warm at times. Not sure why you didn't leave the plate on the back mudguard. There is nothing there that has really enhanced the std bike ! (Which does have long travle suspension and is absolutely great!
