I've not watched any of the reveal videos but those wheels with very limited suspension travel are shit, for that reason alone I'm out.
Otherwise I'm not sure what jaguar should have done, customers wanting an SUV will buy LR and anyone wanting a large family car was shafted when diesel fell out of fashion.
My Jag is brilliant on paper but in reality is pretty dull to drive. I suspect most modern cars are the same and have become a boring commodity.
I want autonomous vehicles that I can control drunk, driving has lost its appeal.

Modern industrial civilization, akin to the Industrial Revolution. So we are 2-300 years in, and seeing problems. 1000 years on this planet may be an optimistic estimate.

We've found all sorts of ways to off ourselves, but have always either stepped back from the brink (nuclear war) or it's going to take some time (climate change) or we've set something in motion we can't stop or control (AI).

Harry Metcalfe founded Evo magazine, IMO the best of the monthly glossy car mags (Autocar is the best overall IMO). He's not some random YouTuber with stupid click bait vids

Yup. I thought the car looked quite Jag like from some angles (sort of low 3/4 view) and you can speculate on how it will change by the time it reaches the road.
Interesting if the pricing is as predicted and the target markets are as said. Not quite sure where they're pitching it if it's 'cheapish'...but then again they've always sat below the luxury bunch and above the 'sales rep' bracket. Sort of 'Essex aspirational'.
