Let's hope it works for them, they're going to need a sales boost once the Trump tariff effect kicks in.
It already has. He threatened to impose tariffs on Mexico unless they stopped the caravans of migrants crossing the border.
In response, the newly elected President of Mexico, Claudia Sheinbaum reported that the Mexican government had enacted its own policies that led to a 75% reduction in "encounters" on the southern border.
Read that carefully. Consider cause and effect. Make your own mind up.
Whats that got to do with Apples sales, I doubt the loss of the illegal Mexican market will have much of an effect on them.
I'm refering to his promise of a 25% tariff on Chinese imports, where Apple's products are made, whilst their margins are enormous it's still a hit on their bottom line.
It has nothing to do with Apple sales and everything to do with the Trump effect. That is to say, even before he enters office, the madness of DEI, the obsession with identity politics and the entire edifice of the woke agenda is beginning to crumble as businesses scramble to reset themselves to the new normal.
Assuming assassinations or WW3 don't get in the way.
I know you're trying to be clever parroting my own lines back at me but it's kind of ridiculous and meaningless when you attempt to apply that logic to something which hasn't even happened! Trump threatened to apply tariffs to Mexico unless they stopped the caravans. The caravans stopped. Snopes are desperate to suggest that is merely a coincidence, hence my comment.
But how you think cause and affect should apply to an event which hasn't occurred is baffling to me. Apple are already pulling out of China anyway.
We digress. A lot of very rich and very famous people are going to be held to account and I suspect a fair few will try to run away, take the cowards way out or end up in jail. I wonder how many people know just how sick and twisted a large tranche of the rich and famous really are because there are a lot of skeletons in a lot of closets and the Trump administration is just about to kick the doors down.
I dare not share some of the horrific stories that are beginning to emerge. Even if only half of them are half true. Just who do you suppose were the paying customers of the likes of Epstein and Puff Diddy? I am surprised Puff hasn't murdered himself yet but he has been refused bail so the clock is ticking.
Interesting times ahead.

So exactly what is this worm and how has it turned?
The advert is quite nice, fairly well done, shows how the little things can really make a difference.
Nowt against it but surely there's a point to this thread, come on spit it out.
The rest of the things youve said on this thread come across as a bit fox news talking points though, which is where your getting some pushback.
THE MESSAGE part you're whinging about comes from yourself, had you just posted that you liked the ad, people would have looked at it and maybe commented on the relative merits of the actual ad.
Instead you're obviously trying to cause an argument (about fuckall really) with your thread title then talking about the things you really find annoying.
The ad? Yeah, its fine.
The clumsy effort to get whatever point your actually trying to make? Not so much.
It was unencumbered by political messaging til you nailed some on the thread title, well unless you were referring to the comedy series by the two Ronnies called The Worm That Turned, in which case its just confusing.

Does anyone really believe that this ad has gone from concept to the finished article in the 3 weeks since Trump won the election?
They may have had 2 versions ready to go depending on the result.
What surprises me is that nobody has said 'Huh? An advert for earphones? WTF is all that family toss about?'
(It made me feel slightly bilious tbh, 'icky sentimental tripe selling overpriced consumer goods' may have been something that passed through my mind at some point while watching it. It makes John Lewis Christmas ads seem 'edgy'. ).
Doubt is not a pleasant condition.

Before the election some NFL player appeared post game wearing a Trump hat while two other players were being interviewed. He was fined (IIRC) $30,000 by the NFL.
Since the election we've had dozens of players celebrating touchdowns by doing the Trump dance. None of them have been fined.

Both Sheinbaum & Trudeau caved. Trudeau even flew to Florida today to see Trump, people joking about him going there to sign the articles of surrender.

Not that difficult to work that one out, is it !!
Even for a Trump supporter
For anyone taken in by the non-existent message (buy our products!), be aware that the hearing aid feature isn't available in the UK (or France, Spain and Italy).

That's because the NFL ban political labels/insignia but not dances.
It's nothing to do with "the worm turning" or a new paradigm.
Those with memories longer than 30s may remember how players now face fines for taking the knee. Trump even called for such players to he banned, because he loves free speech so much
I bought an iPhone because it works well with hearing aids, well, I bought a refurbished one, but it really does do a better job at connecting to aids etc... Means I can actually use a phone. My desk phone is forwarded to the mobile as it makes life so much easier.
Oh, it was a lovely advert, real life experience in that department.
