I was never that good at wheelies on my Blade, I just didn't want to change gear, probably because of the cost of a gearbox rebuild on my R6 after too many hard changes on the back wheel.

I could change gear alright on my DR250, it had so little power you had to clutch it up in 1st and then change into 2nd, unless you could get the balance point perfect you weren't getting into 3rd.

Oh and of course the one in my avatar, circa late 70s , me on my yZ400 (which I still own), albeit I guess strictly speaking that's not a wheelie :)

Doing it over the mountain is cheating, even slow bikes manage that...

Not so much a wheelie, more trying to keep the front down, but as there is light under the front wheel I'll claim it....

I had so many near misses riding a C90 for Domino's when I was 17. They put the pizza box right back behind the rear wheel, so when you had a full load with drinks etc. all you had to do was stamp into into gear with the merest bit of throttle and up the front came :D

Of course, being 17 I would shuffle as far back as possible on the seat and provoke such behaviour as often as I could. Probably the not the wisest and I fell off more than once.
