Not keen on the colour.

However I like that because it's a Porsche colour they've used houndstooth fabric on the seat.

Quite nicely done - but not my cuppa. Too noisy, not my colour choice, mirrors (of course) and 'Ooh, me wrists!'.

I guess I'm just not the café racer sort...and never have been, even when the riding position wouldn't have bothered me.

Not me,for one.

The fact it has car connections is lost on me,so the colour just looks like a primer,drab and waiting to be painted properly.

I quite like the variations on the Boxer bikes,for this one I'd want a few changes if it was for anything but show.

Not me,for one.

I think that the engines are pretty ugly but I can see that they look old fashioned in a way that fits with the style. The bit that ruins the look for me is the use of the shaft drive that comes by using that engine. I can see the skill employed in the bike but I don't like it.

As Skub says, it astounds me that CX500s and BMW R & K bikes are the basis of so many custom bikes.

When the leading tag line is Porsche green, rather than uniquely styled or hand built by Roland Sands, then you have to question it from the start.

I really like that. I suppose the thing is, I don't remember these K and R bikes "in period" so I don't care about that side or their reputation. From my PoV they're all shonky old 70s and 80s bikes...even those two strokes which are so beloved.

I love the colour, but I still reckon Porsche do it better. Can you imagine Porsche selling a poverty spec base model with only one door mirror these days though?
