Re: Go woke, or go broke...
I woke up, it was a nightmare, I went back to sleep.
Jaguar does not register on my radar and whatever their marketing ploy is, it is possible they are trying to get a media storm and attention. Personally, I won't buy a product with that sort of advertising bent, I'm not interested in their lifestyle presentation, I just want a car. So please, sell cars, not lifestyles.

One who forgives an affront fosters friendship, but one who dwells on disputes will alienate a friend.

Despite what ZX81 might have read on his favourite news feeds, this hasn't negatively impacted Jaguar sales (or non existent share prices) one iota (yet), because they've already planned for a total lack of sales.JLR are deliberately seeking to be provocative and address an entirely new audience. By not having any Jaguar cars available to buy until 2026, JLR doesn’t need to concern itself with a short-term fall in sales – a near 100 per cent drop during the next 12-18 months is already baked-in. It seems upsetting the regulars on GB News is a small price to pay if the world is talking about the Jaguar brand again.

I’ll need to see a very good advert before I’m buying one then!Mr. Dazzle wrote: ↑Sat Nov 23, 2024 5:28 pm they're aiming to move the average price of their cars from 55k to 'around double that'.

Re: Go woke, or go broke...
The advert/video is hideous and poorly judged - I'll bet the cars do well though.

I'm not sure anyone, even JLR know what the cars will be, just more expensive.

Some spokespillock from Jag is now attacking all & sundry on X over their "constructive criticism"
