Hah! Retired folk seem to be the main engine of the local economy. A trip into the local High Street suggests they (we ) are the only thing keeping things going. Cafés, M&S, chemists, physios, fishmonger, butcher, public transport, sports centre, car parks, health centre, pharmacists, library.....we're a geronto-econo-job-creating miracle.

Yup, yoof are wanting of online purchases and subsequent delivery miles and the resulting pollution! Where as oldies go into town and collect from central distribution centres, that's shops for the under 40s...

It’s a hard ‘yes’ on giving people the choice from me.

I believe religion shouldn’t get a voice on this. Or they should, and it should be respected, but kept in a box for those that believe.

I’m not at the point where I think we should be able to order suicide as part of our Prime subscription, but I do think it’s the right thing.

Both of my parents died of cancer. My dad fought tooth and nail to stay alive and even the heavy-handed morphine goodbye the palliative care lot give wasn’t strong enough. My mum just wanted to stop being in pain.
