Annual night shoot last night. Lovely night with no wind but bloody cold.
It finished late and it was nearly midnight by the time I got home.
Few hours kip and getting ready to set off down to MCL.

Pah, I've driven 25 miles to the office, bossing it in the snow in my Swedish pimp wagon.
Took me ages to get all the snow off the car, shouldn't have bothered, no fucker else on the commute had, snow falling off cars all over the shop.

Dissolved snow here on the Sarf Coast. It’s urinating down! Staffie rebellion has occurred and there is lots of heavy sighing and judgemental looks when the back door is opened.

Nanny state plastic brains wouldn’t let him and he’s told old (ie over 18) to figure out the Scandi menus to get to the “off” switch.Rockburner wrote: ↑Tue Nov 19, 2024 9:19 amYou mean you didn't slide it in sideways?KungFooBob wrote: ↑Tue Nov 19, 2024 9:06 am Pah, I've driven 25 miles to the office, bossing it in the snow in my Swedish pimp wagon.

Pfffft, I did 85 miles into work, after reading about how Armageddon had come and the roads were impassable, and the local council hadn't gritted 'owt.

That sodding annoys me!! Especially the morning after a heavy snow + serious freeze. Then it's not soft snow hitting the car behind them it's slabs of frozen snow/ice - bloody dangerous!! (and illegal here, not thay anyone gives a shit )KungFooBob wrote: ↑Tue Nov 19, 2024 9:06 am Pah, I've driven 25 miles to the office, bossing it in the snow in my Swedish pimp wagon.

Nah - I'd have been singing Christmas songs whilst taking pot shots at the arseholes dropping snow off their cars or driving with fog lights on in the rain!!gremlin wrote: ↑Tue Nov 19, 2024 10:40 amGood job Chris Rea wasn't driving home for Christmas with you two miserable sods in the back.Noggin wrote: ↑Tue Nov 19, 2024 10:38 amThat sodding annoys me!! Very (very)briefly considered taking a bike to work this morning as hadn't ridden either for 10 days due to man flu and decided not to bother - Cue snow.

Re: What have you done today thread?
That reminds me of the time I picked a trailer up from the docks, midwinter & freezing,I had to bang all the ice from the airline connectors so that I could connect the tractor unit to the trailer. After I got everything sorted & got things moving I got to the end of the docks, did a sharp turn & 45ft/13.6 mtr of ice crashed from the trailer roof. The joys of truckingNoggin wrote: ↑Tue Nov 19, 2024 10:38 amThat sodding annoys me!!
