Alles Gute zum Geburtstag to Tricky
As he's off to tell 'em 'Ich bin ein Berliner' today.
They'll be laying out the racing legend red carpet.
He was very nearly born on exactly the best day too.

Re: Alles Gute zum Geburtstag to Tricky
Thanks all- we had a really nice time, despite the (f. freezing) weather.
Don't think we'll be rushing back ,( Budapest and Prague were definitely more our thing), but glad we've been there and done all the usual tourist type stuff.
It was good and the hotel we stayed at (Max Brown Ku'Damm ) was tip-top- definitely recommended
Highlight for me was definitely the Royal Enfield dealer we stumbled across on the East side yesterday- you'd never find him unless you were looking for him as there is no presence from the road, but it really was an absolute treasure trove in there, so much to see, just on the shelves.
His main business was servicing/restoring pre-70s European bikes, which he supplemented by selling new REs.
Ben, the proprietor, was in his 30s, probably not cool to many people his age but I thought he was ice- he had two benches in his workshop, one had a BM R69S on it in bits, the other a Norton Inter.
We weren't buying anything but he let us just wander about, and also spent a lot of time with us. He took us into his side barn to see his personal collection, a few of which I'd never even heard of let alone ever seen, and I'm guessing most (or probably all ) of the nerdy old farts on here wouldn't have either.
A proper cool dude with some beautiful old bikes
