Re: Friday thread, the middle of Nov
WFH today but started about 2 hours ago so will be finished early, which will enable me to get step Dads (and ours) shopping and take it over to him. Got a new flatpack cupboard/sideboard thingy arriving today so I'll probably build that too.
Tonight my Son is coming over to see us and is staying the night. We're looking forward to having him here again, but I think he's more interested in getting his washing done and seeing the dogs!
Tomorrow got take take the X-ADVs panels off to get to the monimoto tracker and change its batteries ,so will put a new air filter in the XADV whilst I'm there. If I have time build a shelving unit i bought for the shed. Late afternoon we have step dad and f-i-l over for a few hours, they've become good friends in recent years. Will probably have o invite step f-i-l as well or he'll moan he's left out!
Sunday, sod all and when i've finished that, some more sod all. Might exert myself and cook a leg of lamb in the new super air fryer as I CBA to go out to dinner.

Hence, finding it difficult to raise the enthusiasm to do anything

Re: Friday thread, the middle of Nov
Woke up this morning to a nose full of sinus scum and a chest full of lung butter. Dog walk today, book car in to get its dent and scratch in door fixed and the depending on how I feel, a ride to work or "train of lame" to work for a 12hr night shift where I suspect at some point our new enthusiastic manager will be doing an out of hours "welfare and morale boosting" visit.
Sat, sleep a bit, finish sorting out power cable to motorbike shed and gardening.
Sun, gardening and dog walks.

Missus is in UK so quiet one. Still too much pain to ride bikes.
Will be watching last round of MotoGP
Might have a few sherbets as painkillers

Re: Friday thread, the middle of Nov
Today just random stuff. I've asked someone at the school to reset my highway code site so that I have more practice tests to do (down to the last one) - there are still quite a lot of other options but they are mock exams (and only 14 of those, so will run out soon!) and the ones that the system puts together all the topics/questions you haven't answered well. Which just means I feel like Im always failing!!
Tomorrow, more practice of highway code, some walking and then bowling with some friends to celebrate me passing the exams - more celebrations once I pass the code!!
Sunday - more practice etc etc!
I'm sure there'll be some cooking (if only to warm the apartment, the big radiator doesn't seem to be working ) and cross stitch as a distraction to the highway code studies!!

Life is for living. Buy the shoes. Eat the cake. Ride the bikes. Just, ride the bikes!!

I found co-codamol and proper Kronemburg a wonderful combination whilst in Paris some years ago.

Re: Friday thread, the middle of Nov
Friday: Dunno
Saturday: Willow Springs for Vintage Superbike race ('75-'81 AMA style Z's etc).. after I call today & ask how much the admission is... They've started taking the piss, last time I went there (about 3 years ago) I did a U turn at the gate.
Sunday: Monthly Kaw meet at the RockStore
Taking the F350 both days.
A Z1 (started as a '75 Z1-B) that I was part-owner of is racing. This wee beastie:
It's a bit quick & will have local hellishly fast guy Curtis Adams giving it the sauce.
