Dropper post: the Bontrager one is failing again

Post by Mr Moofo »

So I need a new one.
Off to Brand x , or so I think.

Since the demise of CRC they done seem to exist - at least not under 180 quid.

So I want a 31.6 , 170mm dropper. What do you lot recommend?

One up for the win. I really like them.

If you need one I've got a Bontrager here you can have, fully working out of my old Fuel.

Looked at One Up - but nowhere has a 31.6 x 170mm in stock ...
I will ring South Downs Bike and see if I can get a warranty replacement

What Weeksy said about Oneup. Simple, easy to service even for a hamfisted mechanical torturer like me!
"Of all the stories you told me, which ones were true and which ones weren't?"
"My dear Doctor, they're all true."
"Even the lies?"
"Especially the lies."

According to their website, they’re some of the people who were part of crc/nukeproof/vitus. They’ve got some dropper posts which are likely to be very similar to brand x I think.
